Embarrassing Moments with Family

When your friends, boyfriend, or girlfriend come over to your house and your family does something to embarrass you, it can feel like the end of the world. It seems that everytime you bring a friend over to your house your family does something to embarrass you.
Getting embarrassed by your family can happen to anyone. If you bring your girlfriend or boyfriend over to watch a movie, and your father or mother are asking them many questions too fast for you boyfriend or girlfriend to even answer, you might feel as if you want to fall off of the face of the planet and never come back. Another thing that your parents can do to embarrass you is to say that you cannot go out with your friends, right in front of them, even though you already told your friend that you were able to go. The most embarrassing thing that can happen to you is if you bring your friends over and then when you introduce them to your parents you realize that they are not able to respond. Then your parents start talking bad about your friends and your friends have not even left the room yet. Or they take out your old naked baby pictures and start passing them around to your friends. That is when you really feel like you want to switch parents with any two other parents.
Pets can also be embarrassing too. One thing could be that your friend tries to carry your pet. Then it bites them and your friend starts bleeding. While your friend is standing around your dog passes by, lifts up his leg and does his business right on your friends new shoes. You feel sorry for him/ her at the moment, but then you realize what happened was pretty funny.
An embarrassing thing for your parents and for you can be if you walk in with your friends and your mother or your father are all “Raggedy Ann.” You just see how your mom or dad is dressed and then you tell your friends to forget it and that they should leave. It can be tough having to deal with parents, but your parents are just looking out for you. They want to make sure that you do not get any bad influences from friends.
Little brothers and sisters can also be very embarrassing and annoying. Your siblings are all over your friends because they think that your friends are cute or they are just right there saying bad or embarrassing things you do. Also they can be saying all the bad thing you said about a friend. Siblings can be annoying at times but just remember that you were probably like that once. When kids are young they want to know about everything that comes to their mind.
Families can be very embarrassing, but remember that they are your family and no matter what you do, you should respect them, because in life you will only have one family that you will always love no matter what happens. |
